Old rush coils removed and rails free of sharp nails ready for rushing.
The chair coiled in Mepal Rush from 2013 Harvest and this is about half way. Working from back left corner in an anti-clockwise direction.It has proved a tad tricky because the back slats of the chair are so close together I can’t fit my hands through. Also, they end below the back horizontal seat rail so there is only a narrow gap of 1cm within which I have to feed coil down and keep some tension on it.
Despite this it has been a pleasure to work on today.
